Experience

Ashley Adams has been involved in poker ever since 1963, learning the game at his grandfather's knee. 

He turned pro in 1993 with the opening of the Foxwoods Resort Casino's poker room. 

He participated in several poker tournaments throughout his career as a poker player, but he mostly enjoys cash games. 

Over the decades, his hands-on experience, professional gameplay, and continuous study and analysis have allowed him to build an in-depth understanding of poker. 

Initially, he made his mark with 7-card stud, about which he wrote his first book, "Winning 7-card Stud" (Kensington, 2002).

Over the years, Ashley became a successful no-limit hold'em player and an influential poker blogger. 

His extensive knowledge and experiences at the poker table have been captured in more than 1,000 poker articles and three poker strategy books, his most recent being  "Winning Poker in 30 Minutes a Day" (D&B Poker, 2020).

His poker expertise is demonstrated by his remarkable achievement of playing poker in every US state and 27 countries. 

Beyond playing and writing, Ashley extends his love for poker as a speaker by providing private and group lessons and presentations.
