Throughout his 35 years in the casino industry, Peter Nairn has established himself as an expert in casino operations management. 

Starting his career as a dealer at Playboy Club in London, Paradise Island in the Bahamas, and Las Vegas, he has dealt and managed a variety of games such as Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Pai Gow Poker.

Peter's career spanning over several continents gives him a truly global perspective on the industry.

Since then, Peter offered hands-on training of dealers, table games, and slots supervisors, and managers up to Vice president level for more than ten casino openings and their subsequent operations.

Peter has taken on various leadership roles, including:

• Director of Gaming Operations, Casino Del Sol, Tucson, Arizona
• Director of Table Games, Morongo Casino and Resort, Cabazon, California
• General Manager, Park West Casinos, Rancho Cordova, California
• Vice President of Gaming Operations, Red Hawk Casino, Placerville, California
• Shift Manager - Table Games, Harrah’s New Orleans Casino, New Orleans, Louisiana
• Corporate Director of Training, Grand Casinos, Minnetonka, Minnesota

He also drafted gaming operations rules, operating policies, and procedures for 7 properties.

As part of the Grand Casinos corporate team in the 1990s, Peter was heavily involved in the rapid expansion of Tribal gaming, contributing to multiple casino openings in several jurisdictions. 

His specializations in Table Games, Slots, and Training were integral to the company's growth, boasting over 17,000 employees and multiple casinos in four states when he left in 1999.

In his subsequent roles, Peter has held several upper management positions, including:

• General Manager;
• Vice President of Gaming Operations;
• Director of Casino Operations;
• Director of Slots;
• Corporate Director of Training.

As a consultant with First Nation Gaming, Peter assisted Tribal properties with their openings and post-opening operations. 

His consulting work focuses on helping gaming operations increase revenues, minimize expenses, and boost EBITDA, translating to more revenue for their bottom line.

Peter's extensive knowledge of slot machines and table games, including blackjack, baccarat, and roulette, makes him a valuable asset to our goal to educate players.
