The premium casino game supplier Playtech has reached yet another major milestone by obtaining the approval of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) to open an online casino in the state. This will allow the tech giant to offer online casino solutions to the people of New Jersey, as well as launch its other products (sports, live casino, etc.) in the state.
A great first step towards a long-term opportunity
To start, Playtech has been approved to operate with bet365 and Hard Rock Atlantic City, but more partners are expected to join in the near future. Playtech CEO Mor Weizer has spoken about this exciting event:
We are delighted to have met the stringent regulatory requirements of the NJDGE and to be launching in New Jersey with our long-standing strategic partner bet365,” Weizer said. “The US is a highly strategic market for Playtech and we see significant demand for the full breadth of our product offering.
Weizer further described this event as an important first step for Playtech in the United States that will ultimately turn into a long-term opportunity for the company to expand and provide premium solutions to as many players as possible.
