In which U.S. states are video poker machines legally allowed?

Since gambling laws in the United States vary from state to state, I will provide you with two lists: one containing states that permit video poker machines and another containing states that do not allow them.
- States that do not allow video poker machines: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming
- States that allow video poker machines: California, Nevada, New Jersey, and New York

Although I don't know all the states that offer it, I do know Nevada and New Orleans it is not uncommon to see video poker at bars and non-casino type places. (Gas stations, dive bars, etc.). Colorado offers video poker, but generally only in Blackhawk or Central City inside the casinos.
